Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600

I clearly must not have done ENOUGH reading up on tips because it seems I bought the Azla Crystals standards rather than the SednaEarFit black standards that I had meant to buy. I can't seem to find much comparison between the two - is it worth checking the black out? Quite happy with these...

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600

Hi all, just got my IE600 last week and having spent a little longer than I really ought to have lurking here for eartip recommendations, I'm all set with the Azla Standards. The level of microphonics has been so infuriating that I've more or less passed listening to audiobooks or quieter stuff...

    Earbuds Round-Up

Hello everyone :) I've been watching this thread for a while and having gotten my hands on a set of KSC75s recently I've considered trying out some earbuds for a similar portable experience. I have heard of a few recommendations, K's LBBS and Nicehck EB2S to name a few but I'm unsure if these...

FiiO Event -FiiO's new products are on the way to CanJam London!

Hello @FiiO , I will unfortunately be unable to attend CanJam on both days, but was wondering if you could help me with regards to the Fiio M5. I was wondering if it supported a 2.5 mm Balanced connector and if so, if it is usable for LDAC streaming. Many Thanks.

Thanks for the excellent comparison! I've been looking at both the ti7 and acg and want a pair which will sound laid back ato relax with. Would the ti7 be better? Thanks

I might wait for Ali Express to have another big sale and grab the T2s for £20 then, thanks! Otherwise if I get bored... might as well try the DR2s :)

You mean TFZ highs or TIN highs?

If these have such (largely) recessed treble, surely I'll suffer in the hands of most Chi Fi IEMs. I was interested in the T2s until I experienced the intoxicating bass on the beats and now I'm a little conflicted. ZS7s or some other newer models are in view for now. Sorry for formatting...

For example, I just demo'd my sister's UrBeats3 (I know, I know hahaha) well the bass was exhilerating, not terribly controlled, but it allowed the music to be very enjoyable, lpus the fitting was fantastic - usually I suffer with in ears due to small canals, but the earwing things and small...

Ah that sucks, they look beatiful in my opinion. I might check out the ZS7s, I hear KZ have refined their sound sig so it's not so piercing. As for the T2s... man I want to love them. They're like in ear jewellery to me haha but they supposedly produce artificial/unnatural highs which sucks...

Best IEM under $70 (for metal/rock)

Moondrop Aria. Grado like sound signature and I can confirm Grados are fantastic for rock, so I guess they wouldn't be half bad

Best IEM under $70 (for metal/rock)

I've always been intrigued by the Crescents, but as there was a model update some time this year, I don't know where to find the newest one. Or if it's better tuned. For anyone interested Olav (clavinetjunkie on yt) did a sound demo- not like Z's old sound demos, these give a good idea of the...

No effect in sound, right? Sorry, I don't know too much about eartips other than foamies reduce highs

Any specific eartips you'd recommend? My ear canals are pretty damn small.

Nice review! These are available for under £50 for me and I'm pretty interested. Do the mids ever sound hollow or lacking? I come from mid centric headphones and wantd to change it up a little, but I want to retainthe powerful mids I've becomeaccustomed to. Also, how are these in terms of...

Best IEM under $70 (for metal/rock)

Remember, KZs can be harsh depending on whihc ones you look at. Newer ones like the ZS10 Pro and ZSN Pro are supposed to be much improved, whilst their sister company - CCA are also well known for making very well balanced IEMs. CCA C16 is a safe choice and very well regarded at this price. TIN...

Best IEM under $70 (for metal/rock)

By balanced do you mean flat fr or slight v shape? Also, are you treble sensitive? Many IEMs at this price level can be harsh due to their propensity to have um rather energetic highs. If you don't mind a little sibilance, I hear KZ IEMs are brilliant for the price. However, a safe...

    Shanling M0 vs BTR3

Buke I see you have Grado RS1s, I'd like the sound to be like those, not wildly altered. Forgive me if my original post lacked detail, but I have a pair of Grado SR60Es and I love their sound. Particularly how they're not too bright and piercing and have a smooth midrange, that's why I want the...

    Shanling M0 vs BTR3

The typical sound of Chinese IEMs, vastly exaggerated V shape sound signature. So potentially thin and sibilant treble and unrealistic bass (excessive sub bass that sounds woolly or uncontrolled.) I'm just looking for a sound that isn't unrealistically altered to how it should sound.

    Shanling M0 vs BTR3

Essentially, nothing is too artificial sounding. Frequencies can be boosted but not to such an extent that they lose what they are, so highs aren't piercing and bass isn't boomy. Generally smooth sounding.

    Shanling M0 vs BTR3

Hey guys, My friend was recently looking into these two proudcts above (purely to make his headphones bluetooth) and was wondering which one would sound better and if there is noticable degredation in quality over using it wired (straight from his phone). He has an android and will be using...

VE Monk or VE Monk Lite?

Eh I guess I can live without a flush fit if they sound natural. I dunno how good this guy is to go off of but he said that these are sort of V shaped- And that the Monks and Qian 69 are more balanced. Monks are as I have been told not as good as others nowadays but the Qian is available for...
