There will always be people who can't understand that other people have a different opinion from them (especially if it is something they feel strongly about, being positive or negative). And it's much easier for their world view to blame bias in moderation/admins/contributors than accept that...

Thanks, I am more of an album listener myself, and sometimes when faced with an artist that has a huge back catalog it can be a bit overwhelming where to start. Often the allmusic recommended album is a good place to start (although they sometimes recommend a "greatest hits" album, booh!).

Only audiophile purchase I have buyers remorse over is my turntable (a Rega RP1 with performance pack), that I bought full retail price. The AT cartridge salvaged it a bit, but I still pointlessly paid for the performance upgrade.

I actually recently bought a NAD C516BEE CD player, and have it connected to my DAC via RCA/Coax. It might not be the last word in hi-fi. But for the price it produces great sound to me (and no playback noise). I also firmly believe that audio components should be matched in price/quality. So...
