NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
Bought the Atlas last week. So far absolutely loving them. It is such a treat to go back with these and listen to albums i've heard many times before. The bass and low end energy on these while still retaining so much clarity and separation is just so fun. So far only issue is I would like to...- jwilson2398

Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones
Thank you for this; that solved it. Can't believe I didn't realize that. I was under impression it was making same noise with ANC on or off. I was wrong. Thanks. Random aside, but had to put on larger eartips to get a good seal. Used my large Shure eartips. Case lid barely closes, but fit is...- jwilson2398

Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones
Bought these recently. Enjoy them, but if I wear a hoodie / hooded jacket while wearing them (I live in rainy city) the microphonics noise when my rain jacket hood rubs against the matte touchpad on the buds is surprisingly loud. I don't think it's a deal breaker, since as long as I don't move...- jwilson2398

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
I purchased this dongle and can also confirm it works when connected to my Pixel 2 phone. Only issue is the inline remote buttons (volume, play/pause) don't seem to work; or at least they did work for about 10min after i initially plugged the cable in, but haven't since the last few days. Not...- jwilson2398

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
That's great news. Will need to order one. My main issue with the iSine as an Android user is that i really like the sound when I EQ through my Fiio Alpen 2 DAC/Amp, but its just too cumbersome for me carrying it + phone in my pocket when moving around listening to music. Just enough of an...- jwilson2398

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Ok, thanks for clarifying. I know very little about EQ'ing and try to avoid it, but sounds like to at least get closer to the Cipher "sound," just a slight increase in base and decrease in treble at those frequencies is what i'm aiming for? Unrelated; i work in open office environment, so will...- jwilson2398

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Question. I bought the iSine 10, but will use them with my Fiio DAP. If i used the Cipher cable and ran it through a Lightning > 3.5mm dongle, and plugged that into my Fiio DAP, would i still get the benefit of the Cipher cable EQ? Or would the Lightning > 3.5mm connector negate the Cipher cable...- jwilson2398

03/03/19 Seattle Meet, Lake City
I may be able to attend. I'm a newbie here and don't have any interesting gear (Sennheiser HD 600, Shure 535s) but I'd love to see and hear some of the more high end gear. Thanks.- jwilson2398

New Member Introductions thread
Hi everyone, I'm James from Washington D.C. I finally decided to upgrade to better quality audio. I have some Sennheiser HD600s for home and Shure SE215 IEMs for the office. I am a basshead but find that normal closed-back headphones do not work for me because i am too sweaty. Wearing them...- jwilson2398
