Best case I've used for exactly that configuration. Ridiculously cheap for what you get. Excellent build quality. https://cn.ddhifi.com/en/product/cz300/- gLer

It's coming...delayed by two CIEM refits. Should be done by th first half of May. It was actually sounding mighty fine earlier today with this new and rather sexy-looking creature... 😍- gLer

Rn6 is very source and cable sensitive. I have it as a custom with Eletech SoA and it's silky, but you don't want to pair it with a brighter source. It's definitely the lower treble you're hearing through - we have the same immunity to anything over 14KHz 😅- gLer

I love both Xe6 and Trifecta but have to say I hear them like they graph up top, which is to say opposite to this description. Xe6 is clear but totally non-fatiguing up top, and almost immune to sibilance. While Trifecta can be smooth, but if the treble in a track aligns with its wild peaks...- gLer

Ah, one of two IEMs I've re-bought (and now know better than to sell again). Amazing bass, sound, comfort. Can't praise it enough. ❤️- gLer

You do realise what you seek does not and will not exist? 😅 Although I posit your engagement in the hobby is more about the quest itself (and the adventures on the way) than it is about finding the holy grail.- gLer

With all due respect, I think @Damz87 holds the record for rebuying and reselling beloved gear, so it should really be "pull a Damz" when you're reselling something you just re-bought. 😅- gLer

Ideally both. As a one-two punch there are very few IEM combinations that offer the same coverage with a world class bass-driven sound. As individuals, Xe6 needs to be 'tamed' to play the role of all-rounder whereas Rn6 is perfect out the box. Both are better versions of themselves in custom...- gLer

The IEM still has to justify the price. The appeal for it doesn't increase one bit for me just because it's more expensive, but I guess that's a big hook for others because higher cost of entry = exclusivity. I really hope Dio, when it arrives, justifies its price for those lucky enough to own it.- gLer

This is a tough one as I feel like I'm reaching some sort of hobby plateau. I'll give it a go anyway: 1. Anni 23. I'm yet to hear an Elysian IEM I like and this seems to be the current flagbearer for many people I trust. I should finally be getting ears on it in a week or two and look forward...- gLer

This does not exist in my experience. Anyone who tells you different is probably doing this: Exactly this. Ultimately, art is in the eye of the beholder, which in our case translates to music is in the ear of the beholder. Even if we listen to the same music, which most of us don't, we'll...- gLer

USB DAC yes, LO not as far as I can tell. There's no switch or setting for LO, so not sure if there's an automatic LO switchover. There's also no LO vol lock in audio settings, so I suspect there's no true LO here.- gLer

I'm in the tips 'can make a huge difference' camp, but some IEMs are more susceptible to tip differences than others. Wide vs narrow bore is very telling, as is stem firmness and insert depth. All things considered tips generally make a bigger difference than cables, but higher end cables can...- gLer
