Periodic Audio IEMs Mg, Ti, Be, C
Sorry for the delayed impressions. The Head-Fi site change had me working out how to find my subs. Unfortunately the Mg must have been forgotten so I ended up only receiving the BE for now. Had about 3 days of listening so far. It sounds pretty great and the sound signature is quite pleasing...- materix01

Periodic Audio IEMs Mg, Ti, Be, C
My MG and BE were both shipped last week and arrived in the country over the weekend. However due to the public holiday tomorrow, I don't expect to get it for another 48 hours but I'll try to remember to write up some quick impressions between them.- materix01

Simgot EN700 Impressions & Discussion Thread
Got the Simgot EN700B yesterday. A bit early. It's not bad but hasn't got me excited. Treble feels pretty flat and could use more. The carry case looks and feels really nice but I doubt it's real leather. Started to scratch/peel in my pocket after an hour of use by itself in my jeans.- materix01

Gotta say, the more I read, the more I love this company. It's not all that often that a brand will put themselves forwards with raw measurements. I've learnt so much as well from reading Dan's comments here. So excited about Be. Comments got me too hyped!- materix01

V-Moda Zn or Forza Metallo ? :D
I've only tried the Zn and Forza (normal rather than Metallo), but for the bass quality and quantity and overall for EDM, I would have to say the Zn is your pick. I'm a big fan of V-MODA's customer service and their trade in program as well.- materix01

@Lurk650 I've heard a lot about the Magaosi K3 but I have these Simgots coming in this week. Do you still like them better than the K3s? What parts do you like if you don't mind me asking?- materix01

V-Moda Zn or Forza Metallo ? :D
I know this is pretty late but bigger drivers for earphones do not mean more bass punch. I've had 6mm drivers off me big and clean bass than most IEMs with larger drivers. Sennheiser's Axell Grell said that "larger drivers offer no advantage over smaller driver in regards to in ear headphones...- materix01

Need bluetooth earphones that don't suck.
I recomended you the JLab Epic 2 since you seemed to have ignored that... I just said the Jaybirds were quite good since you liked wings and I had no problems with the Bluetooth stability.- materix01

Need bluetooth earphones that don't suck.
Honor 8 doesn't have AAC or aptX hardware support so whatever product you buy will be using standard SBC codec. Since you like wings, the Jaybird X3 is honestly quite good. My favourite is probably still the JLab Epic 2 in terms of out of the box sound and fit (after I made a tip switch). If you...- materix01

IEM Suggesting. Budget ~$100. Neutral Sound. Phone Driven. Usable during workouts.
I agree. Headphones can get quite from the gym due to sweat and wear. I also hate cables at the gym which is why I've really been liking wireless earphones. Made the switch to Jaybird X2s for the gym and right now I have the Jaybird X3 along with a few other models from brands like JLabs...- materix01

Thinking the Vsonic Gr07. Pretty neutral that Etymotic fit or sound (which can be a good or bad thing but probably good looking at what you wrote). The over ear design is going to help a lot with keeping them stable during use for things like running. Fairly neutral sound signature.- materix01

Chapter 1 Reviewing – How Did I Start & How Did It Grow
Very well put. You address a lot of what I worry and have thought about as a new reviewer. Especially agree with the trend of "hyping and give overly glowing reviews of some products". I certainly have done that unintentionally in my early reviews not because I wanted to shill for a product but... -
