    Ferrum WANDLA - Impressions Thread

If i have said anything before that my Hypsos still hummed a little after using a ifi Dc blocker. I would like to revise that and say its almost or completely quiet now after further listening and paying attention for it. Just now to. Could maybe be some slight more electric noise/hum when...

My Hypsos have a faint Hum that i am ok with and i think would be in spec. It does get a little louder when i turn it on powering the Oor. I placed an ifi DC blocker in the Hypsos input. I think it lessened the hum a little but its not completely silent. Have you tried reversing the power...

More then the Ferrum Oor/Hypsos with Susvaras? I think one of the reasons the Ferrum Oor/Hypsos become so popular was on how it drove the Susvara really well.

Started my playlist with classic albums ive added. Album now playing The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses. I think AWAS does great with most genres so its pretty all around imo. Not the best subb bass extension and dynamic slam though, so maybe not the best for electronic music but it got other...

But still it was probably because you need to power it. One more unnecessary source of mains noise. I would avoid filters like that.

Tips to improve Uncomfortable Headphones thread.

Bought the David Clark Head Pad. ATH-AWAS loosed some of its bass weight when i use the David Clark Head Pad. Otherwise works great for presure relief but resulting in not as good sounding. The clamp force gets looser with it and the earcups angle probably change then or how close the...

It does sound great. Only thing to complain about is that the subb bass could have dug deeper and the dynamic slam is not the best either. Other bass then the subb bass i cant complain about. There some nice weighty mids and vocals are smooth and clear and so is the rest of the overall sound...

That's good for me to hear. As i got the impression on various written reviews and Golden sounds ZMF AC youtube review that he didn't thought it was that impressive on Ferrum combo compared to Bliss and some high end tubeamps probebly the Feliks Envy. That's why i choose the ATH-AWAS instead...

This is very assumption of me andi could be wrong but if you had an Top of the line Tubeamp the gap would be maybe closer as i understand 300ohm cans love them and Zmf AC at least i have read no different about. Maybe lets say an Feliks Envy, Auris Nirvana IV im sure there cheaper options also...

I thought the mids where one star of the show with Atrium Closed. Warm and rich is my reading impressions of the mids. The other star the bass often talked about as having the best bass they have heard at least some people say. Not sure if Zmf is Head Fi Hype train though. But they do get...
