    HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions

I sold mine not even after two months of use. I switched to the FiiO M11 Plus ESS and haven't had a SINGLE issue since. I recommend that as a second option because that's what worked for me. Hope that helps.

Sub $250 I use AKG N30 wired IEMs. Good sound, not overpowering bass. Fairly balanced.

Do the IEMs need to be wired or wireless?

It's an amazing little device. I looked at FiiO M11 Plus first since I own the BTR5, but Hiby has always been the most impressive on the actual playback operations having used the Hiby Music app for years. It was only logical to have them build the hardware to push the software and that's what...

Maybe it was cut a little large, but seemed to be that the screen protector was about 1/8 larger in both length and width.

The name of the German company that makes the hybrid glass screen protector is Atfolix. I have attached photos of the one I used for my R6 2020. It is indicated for a RS6, but if you have a GOOD pair of scissors (i.e. Kai), you can trim it a little to fit the R6 2020 as I have without issue. I...

    HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions

I just realized I left out an additional 8 hours a night overnight streaming LiveXLive while I sleep over Bluetooth to my Soundcore Wakey Bluetooth Alarm Clock. That I do 7 days a week. So that's an additional 56 hours a week I didn't mention earlier and still my results remain the same on...

Like any electronic device, I recommend a case like the leather one Hiby makes for it. A screen protector is included with it but there is a better tempered glass hybrid one made by some German company, can't recall the name. Definitely not made to be dropped, not a rugged device by any means...

    HiBy R6 2020 User Impressions

I have had the Hiby New R6 2020 DAP for over a month and have used it every day since. MusicTeck was where I purchased it and I wouldn't recommend any other seller besides the Hiby site itself. I'm really picky when it comes to my audio, both playback device and listening device. It's gotten to...

    The Audio Lounge

The HD1 Free has the best highs I've ever heard in an IEM Bluetoo device. It's not bass heavy, which personally I'm not a fan of bass heavy (kills all the other instruments). Just the right amount of bass, excellent highs, mids are clear, and you can tune it even more with the Cap Tune app.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

So are they worse or better than other Sennheiser you've owned in terms of audio quality? Every time I get a new headset and put it up against my HD1F the new headset goes back.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Thanks. My current set are the HD1 Free. I guess that would make it HD1F. As far as MTW, those were on the radar for possible next purchase. Waiting to see if my Xfyro Arias ever arrive first.

MTW? Is that a brand or an acronym for a saying? Any opinions on Noble Audio? Their IEMs are too rich for my blood, but I'm really interested in their BTS receiver.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I'm game. I'll check them out. So setting aside dislike for silicone, are Spiral Dots worth the try? I did like the look of the BlackBird set but yes, UK mainly and I need to make sure the fitment for core and ear are right .I put myself around 13mm for outer diameter, 4mm to 5mm for core. With...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Looked up Dekoni. Looks a lot like Comply as well. Did some research on Spinfit, saw a lot of people unhappy with audio quality but happy with seal and fit. I don't typically like silicone since that's usually the included set with IEMs, but I thought the Spiral Dots were made of something other...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I tried looking up BlackBird but their site doesn't give much info. Seems they aren't sold many places. Someone has me sold on the JVC Spiral Dots. That may be my next investment. Comply is amazing, but as anyone here who has had them knows, they degrade fast. The perils of foam I guess ...

Comply vs Spiral Dot vs SpinFit

Looks like I may have to track down the JVC Spiral Dots if they compete against my Comply Tips that well.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I swear by Comply Foam tips and have for years. Zero irritation, good seal, and generally makes the setup look better IMO. I've tried others but I've had a lot of audio seepage during movement. Guess it depends on the ear and personal preference, but they definitely have my vote.

    The Audio Lounge

I am a big fan of Sennheiser products and my current set is the HD1 FREE IEMs. They cost a lot, but they also give a lot in return. I added a small swivel shirt clip to the middle of the cord and when you clip it to the top center of the back of your shirt, no issues with the cord during...

Comment by 'nerdydaddyo' in item 'Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless'

I cannot recommend Sennheiser products enough. I currently own the HD1 FREE IEMs and I have put them up against MANY other brands and you would be hard pressed to find anything that can match let alone exceed then audio quality they provide. These will be my next pair.

Help with Bluetooth stereo on Android 7.0

Chances are if you got yourself a set of Bluetooth headphones that also have a mic for calling, good ol Android 7.0 defaulted your audio to Mono versus Stereo output. It's an easy fix. Here I am using the Sennheiser HD1 In-Ear Wireless headphones (earbuds) and have changed the setting in...

The Galaxy S8 pre-order deal ends today. Part of that deal is the VR Experience Box which includes a pair of AKG Y50BT headphones in addition to the other extras (for merely an additional 99 bucks when the value is well over 500). It will be my first set of AKGs so I absolutely am looking...

I've actually been an avid reader of this site and only recently decided it was time to join because I'm becoming disenchanted with the way music and audio in general is taking a back seat to selfies and social media. I was once a blogger for multiple websites but prefer to reduce myself to a...
