I have not considered it, idk how it ranks honestly… is it considerably better then the hifi rose? And same goes for the Lina, is it a huge step up from the hifi etc, I’ve been out of the game for awhile and I remember when the DSD dac was one of the best DACs for the money and I still believe...

I can appreciate that, but I’m trying to stay reasonable with cost, we all know how the rabbit whole never ends, I can’t say I have a budget but I can’t justify double the cost for the smallest gain, I want a decently sized jump up but not 20k jump 🤣

Yea it’s definitely my favorite headphone in my stable right now, easy to listen, I don’t feel i am sacrificing much detail if any for a nice comfortable listen

Wa22 first or second gen? I heard empyrean on a gen 1 wa22 and was very surprised as well

My HE1000se left side is crackling and rattling at low volumes it’s sooooo bothersome 8( I don’t know why it started doing this I’ve tried different source switching cables reversing headphones on head etc.... sigh
