Short MMCX cables - do they exist?
Hi, thinking of buying a portable BT amp for my IEMs, the first thing that comes to my mind is that my current cable is way longer than needed when the amp is fixed to my shirt pocket or so. I looked at some stores and couldn't find a single MMCX cable that would only be some 30-40cm long...- johnyr

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Thanks for the tips for BT adapters. Looks like Shanling UP2 might be the way to go. TRN BT20s looks good too but I guess the sound quality might be lower than UP2 and reviews talk about problematic pairing etc. Is there anything similar to UP2 that would be worth considering - I mean better...- johnyr

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Hi, I've read through several last pages of this thread but coming into the running discussion, I'm lost with my question. Hope somebody could help as I've always got great info here. I'm currently using Magaosi K3 Pro (2017 model) with Samsung Note 9 phone. The resulting sound is sufficient for...- johnyr

Shielding - how it works?
Hi, I'd like to ask for an explanation. I have heavily worn IEMs where the cable insulation has given way on many spots as has the shielding at both earpieces (but it is still connected at the jack connector). What is interesting for me is that I can't hear any change in sound. Am I right to say...- johnyr

Looking for portable IEMs around 150 USD.
Hi, I am looking for a replacement of my Vsonic GR07. I like the sound of the GR07, so I am looking for something of a similar overall quality. I don't care too much about some analytical details that are heard only with a dedicated amp, I, however, want a quality phones that would be capable of...- johnyr

Trinity Audio Engineering - What the future holds
The reason why I am interested in Trinity is also the possibility to adjust the sound somehow via filters. Also the price is tempting and they look good. Another problem is that I am located in the Czech republic. Our headphone market is rather small and most of anything I find is not available...- johnyr

Trinity Audio Engineering - What the future holds
Thanks for suggestion, however, 500 bugs are a long way of my budget. I understand that paying 3 or 4 times more will bring me outstanding quality but this is not the way I want to go. My question is more like - will Trinity bring good quality? I don't really care if it is different in sound...- johnyr

Trinity Audio Engineering - What the future holds
Hi guys, I totally understand that asking this before anyone has heard it may not bring and ultimate answer but I'll try anyway (and at least it will be a different question than "when will it ship" :-)). I've been using Vsonic GR07 for some time and as the fixed cable is going to give way...- johnyr
