Do you think that tonal balance of a8000 is more bright than fibass? I love the speed and dynamics of fibass but it is a bit too bright for my taste.

Thanks for the hint about removing the mesh. The clarity improved not only by a bit. I previously cut a hole on the pad for the BA-s which helped a bit as well.

I am sure that the bigger part of the improvements came from the better amplification of the balanced output (if you used SE cable previoudly) not the quality of the cable itself. The sound of the different outputs on my SP1000 sound competely different with the same stock cables of my JH Angies.

Sounds good so far. Thats what I need with the treble. Matt told me the same. I am over 60hrs but to be honest I felt bigger difference after the first 10hrs and not much afterwards. Just ordered Claire balanced cable from Forza.

Hi Darren, I had mine for just a couple of days but the treble section became significantly smoother after arround 15-20 hours. Then I returned them due to a contact failure. I am now waiting for my replacement and will use them whith Forza balanced cables. How are your first impressions btw?
