Dear AK team New firmware has still not improved quality of usb connection yet. Still have hiss, microphonic when connected with external DAC via usb I think your programmers can fix it, because Ibasso dx220 fixed same problem excellently. Please help to solve soon Tks

Yes. You is right. It is really that I mentioned 192kHz which is limitation of optical cable. Both SP2000 & RME ADI 2 have higher specs. I hope Ak team solve problem usb connection so that I can listen some DSD files beyond optical transfer capacity

It is surely. True power of amp9 can drive your planars easily, even only with low gain mode. High gain mode can cause hiss clearer and damage your planars and your ear :)

Amp9 is definitely warmer than amp8. Hot swapping boost both power and hiss :-). That is why I suggest the upgrade firmware should detect earphoness empedence & sensitivity to switch output, like smartphones lg V, iphone, xplay....

Yes, I thinks hot swapping showed the amp9's true potential. Ibasso should upgrade firmware to optimize its capacity but not cause harmful to amp and earphones :-)

Agree with you. My 320ohms Ve Zen earbud is loud with amp8 and music quality is only moderate. But driven easily by the "swapping" amp9 and has very excellent music quality.

Amp9's hiss could be detected with low empedence iems which lower 64ohms.
