There is a difference in the gain AFAIK. Have to turn up the volume knob till 11 o'clock position to get the same loudness with the stock tubes at 9 o'clock position. Tonally there's no difference in the two. Dunno if my tubes are the reissue or not as I got em locally here in India.

@irishnutter Thanks for the info mate! Have also sent them a email regarding the issue. It's strange that they are taking so long to iron out this issue. Anyways, have you tried using the older Cayin drivers ? Also, have you used the iDAC with any other Cayin driver before ?

@Baten we can. But the sound is just "meh". Tidal in exclusive mode just blows the generic Windows driver out of the water.

Hey Guys, I ran into a driver issue on Windows 10. I installed Cayin's 4.47.0 driver on my PC but the driver is not detecting the iDac-6 over USB. My PC does recognize the iDAC as Tidal app can play through it. Can anyone be kind enough to help me troubleshoot the issue ?
