I need some high quality converters from 2.5mm trss balanced and 3.5mm se to a standard 1/4" headphone jack. The screw type for over the ears don't seem to make great contact always. What are other options that will not degrade sound quality?

i am currently running iBasso IT03 and Campfire Vega balanced into Opus#1 and Fiio X7. Want to take to the next level and get even more out of my music. What would be better ? New dap ? Output to head amp? Ideas and suggestions welcome. Mainly listen to jam band, bluegrass, and acoustic jazz

Does anybody have success stories with RockBox on 4G IPods. I have had many freezes and wondering if it is a problem with my IPOd or is this a really common problem. Any help or ideas appreciated.
