I've heard good things about this album but only recently got around to listening to it. Damn it's good, great songwriting and versatility shown. And that first guitar solo at around the 2:20 mark is just incredible! :o2smile:

While I enjoyed Tempest by Caligula's Horse and Transitus by Ayreon, maybe not technically prog but this album is one of my favourites from 2020. [Hua Chenyu - New World] PS: and technically I only bought Pitfalls by Leprous in early 2020 so :beerchug:

I enjoyed the full 1 hour 20 minutes of it. While I feel the flow of the album/story isn't as seamless as some of his other works and the ending feels a bit abrupt to me, there are numerous fantastic moments and highlights scattered throughout the album with great use of motifs and reprisals...

Listening to it now. Was planning to pick it up along with Yorushika's new album next week but couldn't resist the wait. Really enjoying and agree on the production as well. Edit: Damn that transition from Marigold to The Sect, sweeeeet!!!!! Speaking of which, I know they're not technically...

This already sounds like my album of 2020 :ksc75smile: Can't wait for it. Not to mention Haken - Virus and Pain of Salvation - Panther. This is shaping up to be a great year for prog. Caligula's Horse - RIse Radiant was already a great start.

They get a lot of Tool comparison apparently but Feathergun is easily one of my favourite album all time. Definitely very underrated.

I love my digital music collection and don't use streaming services. However, currently I've run out of storage space in my macbook for my music (200+GB and quickly expanding). So I'm just wondering how does the rest of you peeps here store your music?

I finally had time to listen to this album...IT...IS...AMAZING!!! It sounds to me as if a lot of emphasis has been placed on ambience, phrasing and note selection, no parts of the album sounds disjointed nor distracted, no wasted notes at all, absolutely incredible. Not to mention, I'm in love...
