and I'm still using an old Logitech Dinovo Edge that i bought in 2007  my son did follow the mechanical keyboard craze a while ago, and i gotta admit i was also really interested watching the reviews with him, so much so that he gave me one of his that he doesn't use anymore..but for me...

Three Brand New Earphones: Sony IER-Z1R, IER-M9 and IER-M7

@DynamicEars described it nicely in his post: So the M7 and M9 are very similar in tuning, but comparing them head to head the M9 has noticeably better higher frequencies, better overall resolution, and better soundstage.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

some of my TWS do have battery failures, but most of them are still fine and seems to be holding good amount of charge even after years of use.. for instance my cheap old QCY T1C still works great, and i bought it when it first came out i forgot how many years ago. one thing that i seem to...

    Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread

the older i get, nowadays i prefer cheaper TWS or AZ09 pro dongle with cheap KZs/CCAs/QKZs for everyday uses: >ANC for riding, gym, and gaming/movies >open/earbud style for home and in-bed listening to podcast/youtube >headphones for recording/mixing at home i only whip out my wired earphones...

i just saw his new rankings.. other than him raising the IE600 up (which i agree), all other repositions seems all over the place.. but hey, it's his personal ranking after all, so he can do whatever he wants , i guess

glad to see that my (and also my audio meet group's) views on the EW200 are on point. this and the KZ D-Fi so far are two IEMs that surprise me

"better" would be subjective, but out of around 8 people (me included) on yesterday meet, most of us would find the EW200 good and talk about it, while not mentioning the EM6L at all.

i Tried several IEMs yesterday, some that i can remember are the 64 Audio U4S, Eysian Gaea, Shuoer DZ4,KZ S24, Blessing 3, Truthear Red, and some Simgots (EA500, EW200, and EM6L). there are also some other products that i can't remember the name, like there's one EPZ (red one) that i forgot the...

I don't think i've listened to an IEM that's better than the U12T at that specific sound signature that it does. Even 64 audio have more expensive lineup like the U18, it has it's own signature and not really better than the U12T. There're similar sounding IEMs (like the M9 or Supernova), but...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Internal DAC would require battery/power source, that's why they would instead go with the tuning switches instead

I personally prefer the D-Fi much more to the 7hz Zero. I have the tunable version though, i haven't tried the fixed version yet

I don't have them anymore, but i still remember that i like the ZS10Pro and ZSX, and i think it's still good even with today's competition.

Interestingly, when talking about soundstage at below 200 usd, the TWS world impress me more, to a point that i much prefer using TWS for movies and gaming nowadays..not for music though, because for SQ/resolution, i find that even 20 usd wired IEMs are mostly better/more enjoyable to listen...

Reaching an endgame (i won't say "the", because sometimes the goalpost moves 😁) is both a feeling of relief and hollowness, and it would weigh more to one or the other depending on how we see it. I decided that i have reached my "summit" a while ago, so all i could add to your journey would be...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Incidentally, to date i use the QKZ HBB and KZ D-Fi, each paired to a KZ AZ09 Pro as my daily music tws, really can't beat it for the price. I only use my true TWS (most used right now are the Soundcore A40 and Soundpeats Air 3) for lighter travelling, when i need ANC, of for sleeping

The Supernova is more in the same level as the M9 than the M7. They sound quite similar to each other too, that if you have one i don't think you need to have the other one.

    The discovery thread!

If you need it to be cheaper-beater set that has u12t-esque sound i would recommend the KZ AS16 Pro. But if you're willing to go higher priced, then @DynamicEars suggestion of the M7 is definitely a great choice, also i would add the 7th Acoustics Supernova to the list
