    Forza Audioworks

Hello Thanks - I'd be happy to provide my thoughts on the Foza, but I'm not using the stock HD800 cable; its a Moon Audio Black Dragon.

    Forza Audioworks

I ordered a Noir XLR to 6.3m converter via the website. Matt replied the next day to confirm my order and despatch time. But 3 days later, I wanted to change my order. Even though Matt had just made my converter, he was happy for me to change my order. Very pleasant emails. I'm looking forward...

    The Stax Thread III

+ 1: the extension cable added something that I liked to my previous 007 mk 2s and current 009S. Reading your comment has helped me to realise that it has added sparkle to the treble:)

What's going on with Electrostatic headphone amps?

Some of the amps from Mjolnir Audio cost considerably less than $5000 and come highly recommended. My Mini KGSSHV gives me more enjoyment than any Stax amp I’ve used and that includes the T8000.

STAX SR-009S new flagship electrostatic earspeakers released (with impressions)

I've been using 007A with my Mjolnir Audio Mini KGSSHV for 2 years now and I've enjoyed the combo very much. I've never listened to the 009s. I took a leap of faith and ordered the 009S, which arrived today. My initial thought was 'wow, these weigh more than my 007A!'. Looking at the specs...

Thanks - after owning a few different phono stages over the years, I've settled on Whest. Very fine, detailed and spacious sounding and very flexible in terms of loading and gain.

Pictures Of Your High End System II (Same Rules Apply)

Thank you! When we moved home, I was a little upset at first because there was only a small bedroom for my system. But I was being unreasonable, maybe even selfish - with time, some thought and some funds!, I’m very pleased with the sq. My patient wife is happy too:)

My current set up which I’m very happy with is Stax 007 mk 2 and Mjolnir Audio Mini KGSSHV. The rest of my system is in the 2nd photo.

How many pairs of headphones do you own?

I only use Stax 007 mk 1s now and very occasionally, some Beyerdynamic T50p with my A&K portable. My first decent pair of HPs were Senn. HD600s, then 650s then 800s, you know how it goes! I've owned most of the Stax earspeakers and dabbled in Audeze and HiFiMan. But now, I'm trying to be...
