The price will probably not hold as another member mentioned. Most Hifiman products MSRP costs get cut a good bit, some nearly in half over time. I personally think Hifiman did not analyze the market correctly for this. People did want a new he6, or at least a reproduction of the old one, but at...

My friend just let me borrow with the option to buy a Yamaha A27. This thing sounds great with the he6 from the headphone out. No hissing and tons of power from the headphone output. I reccomend trying it.

They are heavy and large, but their size allows for the beauty of these amps to really shine.

I had the TP60 for mine and was not a fan of it. My technics sounded better in my opinion.

Please let us know how hifiman resolves the driver issue.

That is great, I will let you know which one I decide to get. That is kind of crazy that they would catch on fire. I liked the pun too. How would you say these compare to a technics Sa 5270 if you had any experience with one or a similar model?

After going through signature I really like the design of the Sansui 5000a, I may have to get one. Are there any issues with the noise floor on it?

Thanks I will check out those too, so I am good to power these with speaker taps as long as I do not pass a certain amount of watts without a resistor? I just don't want to blow the drivers.

I would get the pass labs if I could afford it, but that's not exactly in my budget at the moment. Thanks for the advice and heads up.

Do you guys know where I could get a cable that will allow me to connect my He6 to speaker taps? I am currently running my he6 through the hifiman resistor box and a vintage technics sa5270. I would like to try it with the NAD 3020 and I don't know where I would get the cable.

I am afraid that I will not be able to go as well. I plan to attend the next one. I really will be missing out, I hope everything goes well. Can't wait to see the impressions that people post and see the pictures.
