I was reading the manual and it says not to connect or disconnect the headphone jack while music is playing, why? is this an issue specific to burson or is that just being overly cautious. i must confess, i've already done it, i know, living on the edge.

I've only had the Burson 3 ref for a little while, and when I try to connect via bluetooth, it won't let me connect until I manually disconnect from the previous device that was connected instead of it overriding the other device's connection automatically. Are others having this experience...

for me, the volume knob is not really an issue, wobbles if you shake it but rolling it back and forth it feels nice and doesn't wobble. I did notice the wobble at first too and was scratching my head a bit.

That sounds right, but i'm surprised the peachtree decco125 sky is 1.1. do you think some kind of usb reclocker or conditioner with usb 2.0 could go between the dx120 and the dac to make the dx120 recognize it?

I can also confirm that using the dx120 as a dac/amp from my iPhone using the lightning to usb 3 camera connector kit now works with the new firmware, where it did not work previously.

Unless you are asking because you already have this cable, the dx120 has a coax output and uses a 3.5mm to rca coax cable to connect to you dac. You can find these cables pretty cheap. Sorry I don't know if the one you're asking about will work or not.

I found that that the stock usb c connector is long enough to get through the case and fully connect, but my aftermarket charging cables just barely make it through. It connects, but it doesn't fully seat. And I had to widen the 2.5mm balanced output opening. It doesn't look pretty but it works.

ibasso got back to me and said they are looking into the battery drain issue in the next firmware. Great communication from them as always.

It's thinner, narrower, and about a 1/2 inch longer than my wallet.

I'm using it as a dac for my iPhone. The camera usb connector kit with it's own separate lightning to usb power input does not work for me. It does work with the usb connector that doesn't have its own power input, but then it uses power from my phone to charge the dx120 like you described...

I don't think you can search for artist, but they are in alphabetical order and the fast scrolling works pretty well.

Is anyone able to use the DX120 in DAC mode to play music from an iPhone, basically using the dx120 as a dac/headphone amp for their phone? It no longer works for me since upgrading the firmware.

I take it back, I’m still getting a crackle when I hit pause, even with the new firmware.

Indeed, I have not heard the crackling since I updated the firmware. But now it no longer works in dac mode and the artwork doesn't display immediately.

Also after installing the new firmware - I am no longer able to get the dx120 to work in dac mode for listening to Spotify through the usb in from my iPhone - this worked with the original firmware. Now it will work for a split second, then it will pause, and when resumed it will just play...

I installed the new firmware and now I have to touch the screen somewhere to have the thumbnails of the artwork appear when browsing through albums. Not good, any ideas?

My power management sleep timer setting is reverting to 'off' when I power down. I had it set for sleep timer after two hours, and after powering off and then on again it goes back to 'off'. Is there a way for the dx120 to remember the sleep timer setting when powering back on?
