I'm still on the initial 200 hours of run in time, but this far in, I can't believe the resolution I am hearing.  I've listened to both the balanced output and the single ended outputs, and they are both sublime.  

Question: can you stream Bluetooth to the NW-WM1Z and use it as a headphone amp/DAC?

The MDR-Z1R and Hugo TT are wonderful together.  This is the first time I've used Bluetooth between the Hugo TT and my MacBookPro, very surprised at the SQ with the Bluetooth connection.   MacBookPro -> (Bluetooth) -> Hugo TT -> (Moon Audio Silver Dragon v3 SE 1/4) -> MDR-Z1R

Quite a step up from the Z7.

I have the KSE1500 in a dedicated table setup that is not portable.  The KSE1500 is ultra-transparent and deserves the best possible source, because, that is simply what you will hear.  Going from the Mojo to the Hugo TT was a very big step up for me.  I have found another set of IEMs to satisfy...

I actually like the look of them...blue is a nice change of pace...   Now they are broken in to my liking.  They are very even handed in frequency response through out the range that you get, but at both extremes, bass and treble, the very ends are rolled off.  A very good match for the...

I just got the A8 IEMs from Cardas, and so far half way through their break in period, they are not offensive in any way, or in other words they are not doing anything wrong at all.  I'm looking forward to more.

  Sorry about that, I got you confused with someone else.   I'm in the process of looking for headphones for other specific uses, and it's tough after living with the KSE1500.  These are the mot transparent listening device I have ever heard.  Everything else becomes colored in one way or more.

Do you still like your A8? I've pulled the trigger for a work set of IEMs and the Cardas A8 will arrive tomorrow. I'm trying to find a pair of closed back (for maximum isolation) headphones, and after spending time with the KSE1500, I'm having a very difficult time. Any suggestions?

Yes, that configuration is for 'parked' mode. I do have a mobile configuration too. 'Everyone needs a little Mojo' I especially like how your AK is approximately the same size as the Mojo.

There is quite a step up from Mojo to Hugo TT. Current setup: iTouch 6 -> Apple CCK -> Cardas Audio Clear Serial Bus -> Hugo TT -> Cardas HPI mini to mini -> KSE1500 All sitting on top Symposium isolation devices.

I have not tried these, just got the fit kit from Amazon...looking forward to trying them out.

For me, it was a matter of obtaining a perfect seal. I now have an air tight seal which probably contributes the most to the improved sound. No accentuation in frequency response. If there is sibilance you are hearing, you may want to look else where in your system?
