Change the font/screen size to the smallest setting for each - this means you can see more things on the screen at once and navigate a little more easily. Turn off all the Google services/delete any apps that you don't plan on using.

Is it an Android-based DAP? Go to the "Change storage location" settings inside the Qobuz app, it ought to work. Bandcamp is a good source for hi-res music. I also think it's a worthwhile investment to buy CDs for a buck or two each and rip them to whatever flavour of hi-res file you fancy.
