So ifi attach to iDSDpro an upgraded iPower+ 15V with three primary rails and the secundary grounded internally thus my version for my iCANpro is old stuff. They could have told me... ;-) Generally I would appreciate news from ifi when they launch a new or altered product – how to make them do...

So that 's what I was indicating: iDSDpro has a different SMPS than iCANpro thus owning three primary rails? Thanks

The manuals for BL/silver and iCANpro are, for my understanding, also a bit scant regarding the complexity of the matter. Tinnitize

The stock SMPS for my iCANpro has two pimary rails thus no connection to ground. So I doubt that this SMPS can be grounded internally, and the stock SMPS of iDSDpro should be a different one, or is it? Tinnitize

Yes, indeed. And I was surprised! So much more space, as if more instruments zu be "seen" (looking with your ears, me listening much better with my eyes open, just try it: close and open again while listening), voices better to localize, better shaping of sound sources, much more realistic...
