Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
I'd say its bright. Even airer and brighter than the Katana. I'd call the Katana neutral...leaning bright, but the Kodachi emphasises the high frequencies and details there even more.- alffla

Review by 'alffla' on item 'DUNU Falcon-C'
For some reason even though I live in Hong Kong, I had never tried DUNU products until I went to LA and attended CanJam. I immediately spotted the uniquely named DUNU Falcon C and tried it, happily finding another extremely tasteful mid priced product. When I talked to the folks at the DUNU...- alffla

Hey folks, Know eveyrone's excited - here's my review and some (hopefully you all agree as well) nice photos of this lovely pair of IEMS. https://accessibleaudio.co/2018/07/25/fiio-fh5-review-entering-the-big-leagues/ I will try my best to answer any questions and comparisons, but as you all...- alffla

welcome to the audiophile wallet breaking game ! the quads are still very solid, make no mistake about that haha. I just love the brighter, more defined mids and highs in the FH5. quad was a little dark for me. I should be finishing my review of the FH5 in a few days, if you want to wait for that ;)- alffla

Pretty much how I would describe their differences, although I would argue the thicker, slower bass and lower mid bloom compromises the Quad's layering a lot. The FH5 is much livelier to me, with slightly better separation and clarity.- alffla

Acoustune HS1501 AL / HS1551 CU
the acoustune is way more all rounded than the Polaris which is somewhat shaped and has quite thin mids. acoustune is much warmer and frequency response much more flatter and balanced. Polaris is exciting for certain genres like rock though, and those highs are very crisp n snappy.- alffla

FiiO FH5 - Quad Driver Hybrid In-Ear Monitors || Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers
they're such different beasts it's kind of hard to compare. my personal preference is for warmer more musical signatures like the FH5 has. the B400 while it might bring out more subtle textural details, doesn't sound natural to me. I think you do get a little more high frequency details in the...- alffla

I found the Brainwavz to be much too clinical and dry sounding; the FH5 is way more preferable to me with its more robust bass and more shimmery highs.- alffla

Review by 'alffla' on item 'KZ ZS10'
ChiFi audio products often get a bad rep. Especially Knowledge Zenith (KZ), who has become infamous for straight up copying the aesthetics of many other companies. But the KZ ZS10 is something different. We would like to thank Gearbest.com for sending us the KZ ZS10 for review. Gearbest is a...- alffla

Hey, I wouldn't say the Oriolus is really recessed in the highs, but everything is relative, right? The FiiO FH5's highs seem more prominent to me compared to the Oriolus, that's all! :)- alffla

FiiO FH5 - Quad Driver Hybrid In-Ear Monitors || Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers
The bass in the Forsteni is somewhat too loose, and IMO there is too much of a dip between bass and mids that results in too much emphasis in the mid highs - high frequencies. The coherence of the DD and BA drivers, as well as fullness of vocals seems to suffer as a result - I use the Oriolus...- alffla

Soooort of baby Oriolus, but not really. Oriolus is wider soundstage sounding, and a slightly brighter mid - high end. FH5 (at least the prototype i tried) was like, smoooth smooth and gentle. I might say it's somewhere between Oriolus and Acoustune HS1551 CU.- alffla

Oriolus Hybrid IEM
If it is V shaped , it's a soft one, in my opinion . And yes, there is a bass boost but if you're looking for quantity but not boominess , I feel like the ES5 has less boom than the slightly sluggish dynamic driver bass in the oriolus.- alffla
