I've been using either Cardas Quad or Kester 60/40 for quite a while. Both flow nice and smooth even though Cardas does need a little more heat but it's not a big deal.

Looking for a "speaker switch" with RCA jacks for 2 to 4 set of speakers. All I have seen are switches but for wire and no RCA jacks. Some are just ridiculously expensive as well.

Changing the subject... I need an A/B speaker switch with RCA jacks. What can you recommend???

I must say that for the budget minded and searching for "best bang for the buck" you can't go wrong with Cyber Acoustics CA-3602 30 watts powered 2.1 system. The sound & built quality is actually very good and it will surprise many considering it's $39.95 price. NO, it's not a misprint... $39.95...

I agree...... FiOO has gone after the $$$ and maybe wants to start getting some appeal from the Audiophile clientele. Maybe there looking after the "poor man audiophile" market. How knows....

Yes... they are surprisingly very good for the money. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that the volume won't be "screamingly high" but for desktop speakers they will fit the job.  If you are looking for "high end" desktop speakers I would suggest Audioengine A-5 powered speakers...

That's a good question. If the seller doesn't give you a solution or maybe a partial money back agreement, you should try the manufacture and see if it can be reaired. Can't think of any other solution.... good luck.
