Nice. What changes to the sound did you notice? Even if it was very little... I'm curious which pads you guys prefer and why. I may have to get a smoother sounding pair but I will have to wait for my new amp to arrive before deciding.- magor34

Yeah, I remember the Gunnar gaming eyewear had similar properties. They felt great with headphones but wasn't very good for the eyes (slight magnification & added contrast). I thought I had chosen wisely the last time I bought a new pair of glasses but alas I did not. Thank you, it appears those...- magor34

Yup. Audio is a very subjective thing. People are different, ears are different, heads are different. One size does not fit all. And then there's the DACs and AMPs with wildly different specs and sound. All these parameters have a part to play into someones choice of headphone and signature. But...- magor34

Indeed. Softer padding and more of it would be optimal for me. I have a hard time getting that perfect fit and I have to adjust the positioning of the headband and pads every time. But I have my glasses on pretty much all the time so that's a big reason for discomfort with any headphone.- magor34

Nice. Power shouldn't be a problem with the Magni 3 and you can always upgrade the DAC and/or AMP along the way:upside_down:.- magor34

I haven't tried the Verums with the Magni 3 nor any of the headphones you listed, however I have tried the Verums with my Magni 2 Uber. The Magni 3 is from what I've read, slightly better than the 2U, not sure how much better but better nonetheless. I must say, the Verums sounds great. I have no...- magor34

If I remember to do so, sure :smile_phones:. The SU-8 won't get here for a few weeks time and as I said earlier, my THX will start shipping in mid-May so that'll take a while too from the US to the EU... If only Massdrop had that EU warehouse up and running already :slight_frown:- magor34

I got an SU-8 on the way and my THX 789 is set to ship in May. My V1's are already here though. According to one of the THX engineers, the balanced inputs are connected directly to the SE circuitry (lowering voltage at the same time?) so there's technically no SQ or signal difference between...- magor34
