SASH Deux & Tres; impressive planars from Ukraine
Still under harman target so wouldn't call that bright my variations are as bright if not brighter so I definitely won't mind it. For me the most worrying part is that recessed 1 to 3k region. Is that audible? Ear gain definitely starts climbing steeply instead of gradual climb.- senegalas

Yes but for whatever reason he said that honeycomb sounds less agressive and more open. Could it be just placebo- senegalas

Has anyone created an eq for modded GL2000 (all papers removed) it seems like eqing it to already available graphs when modded does not really work as it becomes overly brigh and even without eq it's somewhat bright. Using stock performated pads rn since AliExpress sheep oversized pads are not...- senegalas

iBasso DX120 pure DAP player. Balanced, single ended, line out and 2 micro SD slots. FW 2.9.21 now out!
Could someone explain why can't I connect it to pc as reader? Windows starts freaking out constantly opening and closing the window with files.. It kinda feels like it installed virus or something because I am having problems with one dll file in system32 now- senegalas

IDK why but my last batch dx120 doesn't sound that good, been using it for two days and comparing it with E1DA 9038S and difference is noticeable, DX sounds a bit muddy like vocals are not clear at all and harder to focus. 9038S sounds detailed and just natural. I will keep using burn in cable...- senegalas

Zishan Z4 - DAP with Dual DAC ES9038Q2M | Dual AMP OPA1622 | USB 32-bit + DSD | Bluetooth LDAC 24-bit | Balanced 2,5/4,4 | LO/PO 3,5mm
From this review it seems like xs04 is a better pick. Also it has gain options while with z4 I will be stuck with 880mw all the time- senegalas

I only use balanced cables so I don't care about 3.5. Also what is max supported TF card size?- senegalas

How does this compare to btr5 sound wise. I can't really make up my mind because my phone doesn't have a lot of storage so it would make sense to get a dap but I just want stuff to work well.- senegalas

Ohh fitment is not perfect due to them being super wide but this will do it, also stock probably a bit more comfy due to less pad touching you- senegalas

I have some soft fabric tape, could do two layers of that. But does it mean that bass won't distort when I boost it in EQ? Because rn anything above +3 db in foobars eq is distorting the crap out of these.- senegalas

Honestly I want really plush thicck pads. My m1060C has some thicck ones and pretty sure that's why m1060C has more depth. Your ear is not as close to the driver- senegalas

Actually 120mm pads make sense. Any smaller pad will start covering the driver. Stock pads are just barely enough to not cover driver. But also they kinda might be same pads GL uses. So not sure if it is good idea to go with them rn. Someone has to confirm that they are different- senegalas

Not sure if you will gain anything by having bigger hole, I would say you won't. 110 one will work just fine and is cheaper- senegalas
