I put sockets in my EB01 to roll the opamps and I put 627's in and it really opened it up I thought.

I too find my 225's comfortable. I wear them with bowls and even with my glasses on I can wear them forever. I tried the 414 modded pads and they didn't do it for me. I definitely believe it is a head shape and size thing. I've got a pretty big melon and I think that is why I find them comfy.

I have a pair of 630's that I was very happy with. I ended up making a big jump in price to UE Super.Fi pro 5's and I think they are amazing. But thats a huge price difference. I think for the price the EP-630's are excellent.

I agree. I had a problem with my SuperFi.5 Pros and they went above and beyond to help me out. Highly recommended to deal with.

I have an EB01 that I am very happy with. I did add sockets for the opamps and changed them to my preference which for me really opened it up. But stock it is still one heck of a deal.

I know for myself the Super Fi's weren't comfortable at first. Once I tried the reverse mod they fit great and sound amazing. My 2 cents Rick

It's definitely an F. I took a look under a magnifying glass. What caused the problem was dummy me cooked it with my soldering iron by accident.

I kinda blew something up on my EB01 DAC when I was replacing some caps. I don't know what is, but it says FA51 on it. I have included a pic. It is at position U5

SUCCESS!!! I hooked up an external 5v 1A power supply and everything works like a charm. I like the difference this combo make.Bass is less muddy and tighter, the highs are extended and cleaner. Now I have only been listening for about 20 mins, but so far it has been worth the effort.
