Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread
Hi guys. My arias arrived, had them just for a few days but they sound amazing. Usually my iems have bass and i was worried that these might lack in my preferences but they have plenty, especially sub bass, it's amazing. Also the vocals are pretty forward, female vocals are something with these...- pedronet

Blon in ear monitors impressions thread
Hi guys, I couldn't resist the fuss and ordered a pair. I have them for a week now and i'm really impressed. For the price they are really really good. I must be lucky because the stock tips are actually fine and provide a tight seal (I read a lot about the short nozzle and the lack of seal)...- pedronet

TRN impressions thread
I know that TRN have sometimes released a model that was a miss. But it created some hits already. I have the V90 and i really love it. I'm kinda excited because the VX doesn't seem to have a 8kHz spike according to the graph. This could make it more musical, more focused on female vocals. I...- pedronet

I did a little bit of tip rolling. I've also got used to its treble now, i kinda miss the airiness and transparency of instruments when i eq it down. So my findings were not much because i don't have that many tips but i tried these ones: -LZ A4 foams: less bass, less treble, less comfort...- pedronet

TRN impressions thread
Hi guys, I just bought the TRN V90 and it arrived today :) I must say, these have bass, particularly sub-bass. They also have mid bass but it may not be as perceptible because of their peak in treble. They are V-shaped after all. I am treble-sensitive and I consider the treble on these a...- pedronet

The FiiO X1 Discussion and Help and Support Thread |192K/24B|100mW | LO | inline remote
For me, the biggest problem with the X1ii (besides the lag experienced by many) is the fact that it doesn't have the aptX codec. I'm sorry but bluetooth audio isn't the same without it Also, i don't know why so many people prefer a touch wheel but i'm happier with a mechanical one. I really...- pedronet

RG will grab your song, read the RG tag on the file and apply the volume difference on top of your current volume setting. Real life example: you're listening to a song that has a RG tag written with: -6.31 dB (track gain) and -7.04 dB (album gain) - the same example i told you above...- pedronet

By doing those steps, the ReplayGain would work only for the tracks you have scanned and written the gain level tags. ReplayGain aims at -14 dB relative to full scale, so this means the target loudness would be -14 dB of your X1 "volume capability". If you do this to all the tracks, then all...- pedronet

The FiiO X1 Discussion and Help and Support Thread |192K/24B|100mW | LO | inline remote
Ok firstly you have to understand what Replay Gain is. Basically your player reads a value from the audio file metadata and increases the volume automatically in order to have the same volume level compared to the other tracks. These values have to be calculated by an application first (like...- pedronet

Well, i tried them with my FiiO X1, the FiiO K1 and my LG G2. The FiiO X1 and K1 are very similar to me, but i prefer them to the LG G2 because they're more refined and precise. I know there are probably much better sources than the ones i have but i like warmish ones I tried these with...- pedronet

Toss-up between the RHA MA750, Shure SE215 or Trinity Audio Atlas Delta
The filters will allow you to put it as a v-shape and near neutral but not completely flat for sure. At least the Delta V-II had 7 filters and the sound would vary enough for you to settle with one or two choices. But you have several iems that are not v-shaped. I love bassy iems, and if...- pedronet

X1 Custom Firmwares
I'm not sure if i'm completely correct on this one but i think it's not doable. Character encoding files are binaries in the unicode folder. Since they're binaries, they're compiled files that you cannot interpret. Since they're also OS dependent, you can't really create one without knowing...
