Fatbear silicon protects really well but is a little bulky and I use a screen protector but that's my personal opinion as I've ruined many a screen in my day.- boblauer

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
If you're looking for a stock HD650 cable in other terminations or lengths check out Audio Advisor or Music Direct, I got 2 last year closed out, 1 1.2m in a 3.5 and a 3m in 3.5 for $25 total. Sounds pretty much the same as an aftermarket one using 4 pin XLR balanced out of my Liquid Carbon...- boblauer

I've had mine @ 2 years no durability issues but also not used daily, I leave cables on IEM's once I find a good match. It does tangle quite easily though.- boblauer

Sound Sig is warm correct but is it V or W shaped? Bass extension clean and low? Mid range vs Treble emphasis is where and do they do ok for vocals? I mainly would use for classic rock, prog rock, country/blues rock genre's. Would not use for Jazz, Acoustic or Symphony. Just wondering if they...- boblauer

@jerick70 What's your feeling on the Argons overall? If I don't buy anything this BF, it's looking like that, I may splurge and have my MD TX-0 turned into Argon's for the bass alone.- boblauer

I dont have any expensive cables but I find his work to be equal my EA Ares/Ares Ii and PW No5 cables. Nice beaud, supple feeling no micophonics. I have an SPC cable, small interconnect and had an HD650 xlr cable. I would not hesitate to purchase from him if I needed a cable mow that he's back.- boblauer

Knew Doug the best out of the brothers. My now wife knew all those guys fairly well as she worked most of the races. Got some old pics somewhere at home. I was more of a xcross kid but got hooked up with those guys thru Kawasaki. Still know a few that work there but we're all close to retirement...- boblauer

r Yep know Fischetti and his crew, Rob VW, Rob Trib, the Herzogs etc. all those race guys and gals from the 80's. Basically if they rode a Kawie I probably have met them once or twice. I will not admit to partying or any lingering knowledge there of, those were crazy days and crazy people. Who...- boblauer

Bought a pair last year for the wife and travelling. They're ok, nc works well enough, sound sig is pretty generic commercial mid centric. Work fine in a noisy, read airplane/train environment. Reminds me need to pull those out and change batteries fir an upcoming trip.- boblauer

Small world, I had a loose association with IJSBA as one of my best friends was the original race director. Been to many races all over the US and can't count the number of world finals. Still to this day converse with many of the old school racers from back in the day and jet ski quite a bit.- boblauer
