Hey there, I'm now stuck between the Gilmore Lite with DSP and the SP Extreme for my K701. I know the extreme will sound better, but it's twice as much! Is the price difference worth it?

I'm REALLY thinking of getting these....I have the e2cs right now, and needless to say, their AWFUL. What's the cheapest place online to get these new besides Amazon? Also, how do they compare to the K701 in terms of highs, detail, and bass?

I just got my e2cs today, and they are really hurting my left ear. The same thing happend with my hje50 canal phones. The smallest tips available JUST fit my left ear, and then when their in there, my ear starts to burn, like some really bad irritation. What's the explanation for this?
