Odd. This 1.18 you mention is not even referenced on the AK US support site... Only 1.17.

And strangely enough, there is a gain setting on the line out. That way I can listen at a lower level than the sp3000 when I add the c9.

+1 for the c9 added to the sp3000. Even with iems the bass is magnified.
