If there's one minor con I can mention about the WM1A, it's the background noise with sensitive IEMs. It's not loud of course, but it is there, noticable in quiet song sections, or when nothing is playing. As a comparison, my Cowon Plenue 1 is absolutely silent no matter which IEMs I use.

The Benks was actually going to be my choice, until I saw the case that I have now. And I'm glad I have it on, as yesterday my 1A fell from knee height onto a concrete floor, haha..... I am one to take my DAPs out and about, so this case is perfect.

Interesting, I haven't noticed any dust cling to the case, and I've had it for a couple days already, doesn't feel staticy to me at least.

The crossover network has one resistor per side. Edit:some pairs have two resistors in the network per side, while others, like mine, only have one per side.

Welp, despite being in the leather case, the back of my R6 managed to crack. Fell off of the table I was working at (about 26"), along with my iDSD BL. I'm wondering if they use the same type of glass as the front screen, because that screen is still perfect.

Also, is the 8.1 update something that can be done OTA, or is it a website download? I installed a recentish update (OTA), but am still on Marshmallow.

That was probably me. As an update to my issues, a full proper reformatting of the card seems to have fixed my randomly missing track issues, for now.
