hey, guys.   a friend of mine just gave me a stanton str8-80 turntable. it has a straight tonearm with a stanton groovemaster cart on it. for some reason, i've always though that straight tonearm + integrated headshell = not good for records. is this true or not?.

hey, how's it goin. i just received a hornet in the mail today. and it just isn't loud enough. am i doing something wrong?. plugged into my panasonic record player, my hd580's are mind meltingly loud. but with the hornet, i have the knob at 3:00 and it still just doesn't sound loud enough...

i recently got a pair of HD580's as a present , and my PA2V2 just doesn't do anything for them. i would consider a home amp, but i really don't have too much space left in my room. plus i like to travel with my music. so what would be a good amp for me?
