As a temporary solution, I want to get a speaker selector (i listened to rotel a12, cambridge 651a and creek 50a, with my speakers, and all sounded almost the same as with my NAD, so I need to check more options) you think this one will do the job without harm to the speakers or amp? ...- obb2015

nope , just before sleeping ;-) anyway, now i'm thinking, for next year to upgrade the NAD D3020, move it to the bedroom to feed the dali's. Then for the Paradigm's get a new one, which can be the NAD D7050, maybe Marantz PM6005, or even a Creek Evolution 50A (and anything else you might...- obb2015

Thanks, it looks like a good option, I can order it from ebay with free shipment. The usage is more than nearfield, mostly from bed. maybe 0.7 meter facing it, so 2.5-3m, but the room is not big, so this setup should be ok.- obb2015

Anyone knows the Audioengine N22? will it be enough to drive the Zensor 1s? This might be more convenient then pulling cables+switch, and i'm still in less than 500$ budget. thanks- obb2015

Yes, I was thinking about the Atoms as a 2nd pair, since they are the same brand and excellent too, but the Dali's sounded just great, and I actually asked the seller if there was no sub playing somewhere. It was a nice weighty bass and the rest of the sound sounded real (this is what I get with...- obb2015

Before I bought the NAD, I was also testing the Teac. They are priced very closely here, the Teac is even more expensive, I guess because it is imported by small audio shops and NAD is in the big malls.- obb2015

Since my mb air is connected to the NAD, I can control itunes (all lossless) with my phone/ipad. I'm now mainly using Tidal hifi, but no remote for it yet. I did test bt , it's ok but with some drops. On a side note, there's a weird problem with my xperia z3 sending music to the NAD- it won't...- obb2015

thanks, it's not a bad solution, but I'll be lazy to move it twice a day... I better find a good speaker selector, to make it as hassle free as possible.- obb2015

so, i went to one shop in Bangkok that sells Dali speakers (that I know of), since the Zensor 1 price dropped to about 240$. took me 10 minutes to order...they sounded just great with this price that was a must. now waiting for them to arrive, as it is by shop order. anyway, thinking...- obb2015

ok, now after more thinking I flipped again. I prefer to buy new passives for the bedroom, maybe the Paradigm Atoms or similar, it's about 360$ here. invest in a new amp for the living room, in the 600$ range, and move the NAD to the bedroom. this way I get a great compact bedroom system, and...- obb2015

only the pioneers are available, the amps here are all the traditional type. I'm leaning towards the q bt3. it's quite good and very convenient, one complete package. But i'm still gonna look for more active speakers/monitors here, there's no rush. thanks all- obb2015

thanks, so a Lepai would be enough for decent bookshelves? I like the Paradigm sound, I could go with Atoms for 400$, which has the same signature, with less bass. another option is the 200$ Pioneer pair (forgot the model) I live in Thailand, and can't find Dayton here, would love to...- obb2015

Thanks, great answer, it will give me some direction. Probably will look for a T amp and check cheaper bookshelves with it. another thing I was thinking is to wait a few months, move the main one to the bedroom and invest in a new main system. Then I have to see what will be a good...- obb2015

Hi, I am looking to put a small audio system in my bedroom, been listening to a few powered speakers and my top 2 choices are Audioengine A2+ and q accoustics BT3. The problem is that I keep comparing the sound to my living room system, which is a Paradigm mini monitors 7 with an NAD D3020-...- obb2015
