Hi, will this bundle also become available in other regions like Europe?

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Has this ever been confirmed by measurements? I remember UAPP falsely reporting hi-res output on other devices running Android 5.x.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

No need to do so. Just install it like a normal update. Sample rate conversion: https://source.android.com/devices/audio/src One of the drawbacks of the X7II using Android 5.1.1. FiiO modified the system in a way that makes it possible to circumvent this limitation, but it doesn't help as...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Yes, it works like a normal update and uses the same licensing routine.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Been using Neutron since they added full compatibility for Fiio DAPs and performance is the same as before for me. Are you using the latest optimized build of Neutron found here (NeutronMPGooglePlay_NEON.apk) or the unoptimized one from the Play Store?

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Hiby Music doesn't circumvent Android's SRC. The only 3rd party app that is definitely able to do so is Neutron.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Um, that's not how it works. Increasing the size of the data partition gives it more storage space, but that's it. For smoother operation you would need to increase the size of the RAM, i.e. modify hardware. Android always uses multiple partitions. /system, /boot, /data and so on.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Right, However, the description of the international FW 1.0.6 lists "miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes" that aren't mentioned in the description of 1.0.7JP, so maybe this includes said feature?

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

There is no 1.0.6 FW on the Japanese site and the description is almost the same, so it is probably just 1.0.6 with some minor region-specific adjustments.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Like @FiiO said: It doesn't have any influence on sound processing at red book level (16-bit / 44.1 kHz). Excuse me for being blunt here, but any difference you "hear" is only happening in your head. Good ol' placebo effect. I'm using high performance mode anyway, because the difference in...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Browser extensions often "leak" your real IP (and thereby location). Try the free/trial version of an OpenVPN-based desktop app like Avira's: https://www.avira.com/en/avira-phantom-vpn It should do the trick. Just make shure to use a server within your intended TIDAL region (UK would be the...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

I think it has to do with the Channel Islands' special legal status within the UK (think taxes, not being part of the EU etc.). Keep in mind that TIDAL's catalogue differs from region to region due to licensing. I'm no expert when it comes to this stuff, but they might need additional licenses...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Ran a quick test on my scruffy XDP-100R and the compatibility list seems to be correct, at least for this device. Hi-res PCM works fine, DSD (neither native nor via DoP) doesn't. Didn't bother to test MQA since it is merely a marketing scam.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

@yaslam : The changelog for the latest build of Neutron (2.01.0) states that it does "support native DSD on Fiio DAPs (X5, X7, ...)". However, when I play .dsf files (DSD64) on the X7MkII, it still says "Frequency: 176400" and "Bits: 64 (out:8.24 int)" under Settings -> Audio Hardware. Is this...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

SRC shouldn't be much of an issue when using TIDAL since it uses CD quality audio (16-bit / 44.1 kHz) for lossless streaming. As for their so-called "hi-res" content: They are using MQA, which involves lossy encoding, blurring and many other highly questionable procedures. SRC is the least of...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

IIRC, the iBasso DX80 has dual microSD slots and an optical out. It goes for about 350€ here in Europe. Using an X7MkII as a transport only would be a massive waste IMO.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

Did they really implement (limited) hi-res output lately? AFAIK, the Android version of foobar2000 only supports decoding of such content.

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

There are quite a few audio apps that are able to decode hi-res content, but only FiiO Music and Neutron are able to circumvent Android's SRC (i.e. downsampling) on the X7MkII when it comes to output. The regular version of Poweramp from the Play Store (2.*) decodes hi-res files, but doesn't...

    FiiO X7 Mk II 2GB RAM + 64GB ROM + ESS9028 PRO + Balanced + DSD + BT 4.1 aptX + Dual mSD + Dual Band WiFi + Opt Out

DSD audio is a niche product within the audiophile market, which in return is a niche market itself. jetAudio is one of those audio apps that are all about effects and so-called enhancements and it is subjected to Android SRC, i.e. it is the anti-thesis of an "audiophile" app, so adding DSD...

Get foobar2000 and the File Integrity Verifier component. Enqueue the files in question, mark them, right-click and select Utilities -> Verify integrity. If it returns audio CRC errors, your files are damaged.
