Possible way to get best out of Ipod?

As far as the SQ goes, we know that the Ipod isn't the solution. However, assuming it is in-home use only, what if one does this: Ipod (wav, loseless) -> Usb/ Optical -> DAC -> Amp -> Can Is this even a possibility??? Just a thought.

    Grado Question

Stretching the headband might help better the comfort than reversing the pads.

    Grado Accessories?

Kind of dumb question. If the headband (or the 'L' 'R' plastics) get damaged, how do we replace them? I cannot find any grado replacement parts anywhere.

    Heed Canamp questions and alternatives?

Eying on the EC/SS for my 225 as well. Although I've never had the pleasure to try it, my first impression on this amp was that as if they designed it especially for Grados. At that very moment, I knew I had to get it. The only thing holding me back is the fact that not many impressions have...

    Grados Uncomfortable?

It's the pressure. Unless the person has very flat ears, it's always going to be painful in some degree. I was thinking, why can't we have the pads looking like the gs-1000 that'd go around the ears? Just a thought.

    Hissing

Everytime I listen through headphone jack from my old audio receiver, I'd hear hissing noise even at low volume. Would cleaning inside the unit help??? I saw with flashlight and it's very dusty. =(

SQ difference from mini analog out

Lets say I have soundblaster live on one hand, and the Juli@ on the other. Assuming that the mini analog out is the only option(no digital out), would you say that the difference in SQ is significant?

    Stereo-link USB DAC

Just curious that using the USB DACs with amps would improve the music quality over the soundcard mini out. Some say that USB ones don't benefit as much, that just using amps directly from the soundcard can do better. As I was searching, most of the head-fiers prefer to use the DACs with...

    Humming(?) noise with RCA/Y-Adapter

I'm trying to connect pc to stereo with RCA/Y-Adapter(or mini-to-RCA) cable. The problem is that I get this annoying humming noise. First I thought it was the cable, but after searching the net, I came to realize that it's related to the grounding issue. I ran to the local Radioshack and got...

best matching amp for sr225s on budget

C-Pad Zeta Flat Ports... did you mean the Z-G SR Black(if I go black) or the Z-G SR Black Port? They say something about the pegs(?) being not included. Kind of confusing.

best matching amp for sr225s on budget

Sounds like PA2V2 is the winner. Where can I get this amp? I read some grado owners talk about the c-pads. I wonder which pads will help to give more bass.

best matching amp for sr225s on budget

Hi, Maybe this has been asked before, but what would be the best matching amp for the sr225s? Sadly I'm on a budget, and it'll be nice if it can stay under $100. Although sr225s have great details, I feel a little hungry on the bass department. Thanks in advance.
