i actually use the Oyaide HPC-HD25 on my sennheiser hd650, and i can hear a difference, the sound is much more clear and less warm (which i like alot). i can definitely recommend these cables

I have bought the hd650 a while back now and i used it alot with the e12a, i have no problems driving them and its sounds really good. i dont even have to put the volume on the e12a past 50%. so the e12a is also a perfect option for the hd650 :)

Yeah i noticed that without the e12a there is almost no bass... i do like my bass so i will keep using it together, thanks for the awnser!

Yeah with my hd650 its definitely better with the e12a than without! ill keep using the e12a:)

Thats quite funny actually because i did exacly the same, and came to the same conslusion! i used the x5 today without the e12 and there is just something missing, i dont know what it is, it feels like its just not powerfull enough when im not using the e12a!

Hi,   I own a fiio x5 (1st gen) and a fiio e12a... With the e12a it sounds warm and with abit more bass (since there is a bass on/off switch on the amp). I was wondering what you guys think;   does the fiio x5 actually need an amp (for portable use)?   i combine the x5 with the hd650...

I bought my sennheiser hd650 and waiting for it to arive.  i just realised i got an e12a (fiio). does this even work together?   on the fiio website it sais: Nominal impendence 300 ohm. and the headphones are 300 ohm.   althought the e12a is specialized for in-ears...   please help!

Actually they do ship to holland. the problem is that i pay around 80 euros of import costs which i dont have.
