    Sony MDR-10R Impressions Thread

I am very impressed with these headphones. They are a little pricey but the Noise Cancellation is really good, especially when flying.

Sony MDR-Z7 or Philips X2/27 Fidelio Headphones

I've never been a big fan of SONY headpones; to me they always lacked immediacy and punch... until now, that is. When I plugged these beauties into my CEntrance DACmini, I was honestly blown away! Can a headphone have powerful, in-your-gut bass and have extraordinary clarity and soundstage...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

Thk for compare, cool spec.   Overall, I would seriously consider MSR7 to be my new favorite pair of full size headphones with a design, a style, and a sound quality which hits a sweet spot in my book.

    V-Moda Crossfade LP

I use these at work all day. They do a great job of blocking out all the noise around me (perfect in an open office space) and the sound is fantastic. They are also very comfortable. I hardly know I have them on. (And they look really slick, too.) They are pretty hefty though, and the case...

Audio-Technica ATH-A900X: Impressions, Reviews, Mods, etc.

Thk for review. These are a great pair of headphones, they sound great for music and gaming(positional audio) with a good sound card. I am using these with the Creative "Titanium HD" on my PC and am very pleased with how it sounds.

    SENNHEISER HD 598 VS AKG K 550

I think it would be quite helpful to do a comparison. In contrast to the 598, the HD598 are quite affordable to most for a beg head fi headphone, and they do sound good. Also, yes the foam mod "works" when done on the 598 in that it opens up the headphones, bass is more prominent but still...

Monster Beats By Dr.Dre Studio vs V-moda Crossfade LP vs Sennhesier HD428 review .

The V-Moda Crossfade LP over-the-ear headphones are the result of an over 4-year effort to provide music enthusiasts with quality sound, unbeatable durability and a style all their own. I use these at work all day. They do a great job of blocking out all the noise around me (perfect in an open...

Sennheiser Momentum vs Audio Technica ath-m50x

As to sound quality: these are definitely not flat response headphones. The bass is certainly not boomy, and it's pretty punchy and crisp; however, compared to the Sennheiser Momentum, the bass is noticeably stronger and slightly overwhelms the rest of the sound. But some types of music sound...

Sennheiser HD 449 vs Audio Technica ATH-M50

Vote ATH M50 +1 I'd been looking at headphones for about a month or so looking on various headphone review sites when i finally came across the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 set. I was looking for a great pair of headphones between 150 and 300 dollars, so these were on the low end of my search, but...

New Audio Technica ATH-M50x with Removable Cable

Now initially I wasn’t as excited about the M50x because the initial reviews suggested that it would not be that much different from the M50. But recently Tyll over at Innerfidelity did a review of the M50X and he found with his measurements and his own listening that they have improved the...

    Bose QuietComfort 20 discussion thread

Amazingly, Bose has succeeded in fixing pretty much all of my complaints with the 20. After wearing them on a few recent trips, I've found them to be very comfortable, even when sleeping; I can keep them in the whole way from ORD-NRT without any pain or discomfort. The ability to recharge...

    Bose QuietComfort?

Now true to Bose’s classic form there’s not much information beyond the general features of the headphone on the box so Bose noise-canceling technology, folding earcups, in-line control and mic. The active EQ and triport technology…I’m actually curious about what that ‘Active EQ’ implies...

    New headphones: ATH M50X?

The M50x's met and surpassed every item on my list. They are comfortable, light and stylish. They aren't as stylish as something like Beats, but nothing is really. The build quality though is wonderful.   Great for new headphones, cool spec.

Sony MDR-Z7 or Philips X2/27 Fidelio Headphones

The one thing to note is that the Z7 is a closed headphone, but it has not one but two ports on each earcup at the top and bottom. This means that noise isolation is actually quite poor with this headphone, and I would not recommend it if external noise isolation is critical. Needless to...

Powerbeats2 or Jaybird Bluebuds , which is the better bluetooth model?

So I actually just pick these up a couple days ago and to tell you the truth I’m not usually a big beats fan but these here are a great pair of sport headphones. They really meet all the requirements and expectations that you have been apparent good sport headphones.

    Sennheiser Momentum 1.0 On-Ears Review by mark2410

Now, first things first, with the design I can see the Sennheiser Momentums are a beautiful piece of gear. So very premium materials used throughout and a really beautiful design. Thanks for review, cool spec.

    New(?) Bose Soundtrue Headphones

The on ear version of the SoundTrue that just so come out.   So I just show you the signs difference, between these they're almost an exact copy each other just on a different size scale.   So the notice the on ear are a lot smaller then the around ear. One other feature that the on ear...

Bose QC25 review (long flight experience included)

Great cool spec. Thank for review. I personally prefer the design of the SoundTrue. But this has its own sort of appeal. So this is the headphone as we can see in the folded up configuration and you can tell it is really quite an understated piece of industrial design.
