I have the Zs10 as well, it has excellent bass impact and extension, is the C16 superior to it?- MilTech

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
Yep. 180mw into 50ohms is not nearly enough. My Fulla V1 drives them ok, but the iFi Micro iDSD, holy cow.- MilTech

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones
Anyone else have their Next Day M1060's go 'missing' in shipment? Supposedly another pair has been sent, and scheduled for tomorrow. Tracking through their preferred carrier is non-existent.- MilTech

Ordered the M1060's within 15 minutes of the email notice. Will also post my impressions here. Even an LCD-lite sound would be a steal at this price.- MilTech

HD650 right side louder, or is it all in my head?
Run a 200Hz test tone that is just audible on the good side, or hold just that cup to your best ear, then try the same with the other side, this may help in diagnosing the issue.- MilTech

JRiver MJ14 with free VST... also lkjb_Luftikus, whitlelabel tenq, mhorse, IIeqalt, BaxterEQ, BootEQmkII, Pushtec, and Nova67P. I went through more than 100 eq's before settling on these. And ALL of them including JRiver are free. Hope that helps.- MilTech

Shure SRH840 vs Philips Citiscape Uptown
The Uptowns have incredible isolation, good sensitivity and nice bass -- however, they are rather rolled off on the topend, and can build up some heat around the ear if you are in a less than confortable environment. I have watched full movies with them though, so they aren't torturous. I can...- MilTech

What do you mean by sometimes works? It has a mild boost, which is audible when the appropriate frequencies are there. It's not a 'beats' style boost that muddies everything up.- MilTech

The 2000+iDSD combo is just unreal. No limit SPL and extension wise. Some smart EQing brings them in line SQ wise nicely.- MilTech

Pioneer SE-A1000 (Sennheiser HD 650 for $45?)
Had to share two modifications that seem to have resulted in (7), identifiable changes for the positive with the A1000 hp. First mod is the Bluecell ATH-AD400/700/900 earpad, which runs $7 and change online. Big difference in comfort here, no more slippage as with the stock ones, and ears...- MilTech
