DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
Nice review Chris, as usual! I've had my AMP2 for about three weeks now, with burn-in of between 70 - 100hrs. I did post some very early take on the AMP2 and that largely still stands. This time using Beyer's DT1990 Pro to listen to various sections of a DSD64 recording of Rachmaninoff Piano...- nzvlam

DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
Very early impression with the AM2. Slightly more body and space. A little bit less at the top end, however I suspect that will "open up" with a bit more burn-in. Seems not as analytical and more musical. Only very slightly more powerful. These are not night and day differences. At least...- nzvlam

DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
Installed the new firmware for a couple of days now. Fixed all the problems I had in Android mode ( Gapless and order issues). However I have a new problem with Mango. Sometimes it cut off a few seconds of the beginning of a song the first time it is loaded. Anyone else got the same problem?- nzvlam

New Burson Conductor - V2 and V2+
I would say there is definitely audible differences, not necessary improvements. After all, good and bad in sound is purely subjective. First of all, they are both Bursons, there will be more similarities than differences. When I compared the amp section only, using same cable out of my...- nzvlam

DX200=Affordable High End Audio. Dual ES9028Pro dacs. AMP1, AMP3, AMP5, AMP7 & AMP8 ***Firmware support now up for AMP9***
To me, more responsive UI in Mango is a nice to have feature. Sure its a premium priced piece of gear and it is expected to work perfectly. It's UI is nowhere near as responsive as my X7. However, all I'm interested in is the sound. I'm not playing video games on it, nor do I fiddle with the...- nzvlam

Oppo Sonica DAC (an affordable ES9038PRO Sabre DAC)
Believe only support up to 24/192 and DSD 64 in wifi and USB A (at the front). While USB B asynchronous is 32/768, DSD512. Difference in SQ will depend on how good your ear is.- nzvlam

My only complain with the old firmware is random popping noise when playing 24 bits flac's. Since there doesn't seem to be a fix for that in this fw upgrade, I think I will wait for the next update.- nzvlam

Hi Paul, Tried with a different SD card and also the internal memory, same result. As for me, only 24/192 flac files has that problem. Just a bit more information to help your diagnosis. It gets better after a factory reset, and come back after a while. May be after I turn off the...- nzvlam

Hi Paul, Will switch to another card and give it a try. As this is a random affair, will give it a couple days before I report back. Also, I was trying to copy some files to the built-in memory to try, but was unable to do so. Is there any trick about doing that? I tried in Mango mode...- nzvlam

Great to know! I only use the Mango mode as I think the SQ is better. Also, my unit is playing DSD files with the L/R channel swapped. Still waiting for a download to fix this issue. Apart from those two, I am absolutely loving my DX200.- nzvlam

Yes during chaning song is normal, which I also have. But I also have it when during song playback randomly. That is sometimes there will be 4-5 pops within 2 minutes. But sometimes it will be with no pop at all for the entire song. And it only happens when playing flac files. I have no...- nzvlam

Paul - iBasso Hi Paul, Got the DX200 a few days ago. Great sound! Great job, Thanks! I got a problem however, when playing DSD files, it seems to swap the left & right channels. I had similar problem with another Sabre product (or it could possibly be the XMOS as well), which they...- nzvlam

New Burson Conductor - V2 and V2+
Does any owner have experience with the V2+ that when playing DSD files the L/R channels are swapped? PCM is fine, only DSD files are affected. Someone with the Conductor Air is having the same problem. For info, using Mac with Audirvana Cheers- nzvlam

Conductor Air pocket sized USB DAC, Headphone Amp, Remote Controlled Preamp
I am having the same problem with the Conductor V2+. Contacted Burson for troubleshoot, they say this cannot be a wiring error as this only affect DSD. Now I just change the L/R when playing DSD. For info, I use Mac OS 10.11 and Audirvana 2.5.4.- nzvlam

Hi frankrondaniel Its Hong Kong, its small. I just took it straight back to the distributor and then they sent it back to iBasso. Unfortunately it's Hong Kong, once it's sold to you, the shops don't care about you anymore. You always deal directly with the importer/distributor after 10...- nzvlam
