Koss KSC75's. Dont Forget This Giant Killer in all the ''Hidden Gem'' Hype.

I should have looked around a little for the Yaxi's. Is there a sound improvement if used with the stock clips?

I was just searching for ear pads and found the Yamaha RH1C, which looks like the Koss portables. Has anyone tried them? I'm probably going to order some new KSC75's and some ear pads for my old ones. Is there something similar to the Yaxi pads that is a little cheaper?

The Yuin G1a seems to be hard to find and costs $100 more if you can find them. They should be better. This may be a bit off topic but I found some headphones I really like - the MEE Wave. They are Bluetooth with a headband but remind me of the KSC75 in their overall sound. The earpads are...

    MEE Audio AF36 Wave

A year and a half later, these have become my favorite headphones. I'm on my second pair of these after the dog ate my first ones. I mentioned before that they were bass-heavy. Well, if you want a cleaner overall sound, it's easy to achieve. MEE left one hole open on the back of the driver. All...

Has anyone compared these with the MEE Matrix 2? I'm looking for something to use at home that has some isolation.

To be cear, you are referring to the cup with the grill that the element snaps into?

    MEE Audio AF36 Wave

I finally bought a pair. I wish i had bought them sooner. They sound great! They are quite bass heavy but the sound is otherwise very good. The highs seem a little boosted also but they match the bass. The mids have no bad habbits and seem very natural. This is a great signature for rock. They...

Its not that they are made from poor material but breaking down over time is a characteristic of the material that is an industry standard for this type of headphone. Anything else will be more expensive and change the sound quality. I would however like to see some semi-isolating pads that are...

REVIEW: Koss KTXPRO1....an awesome portable headphone!

There is always the issue of do you want headphones that have flat response or headphones that sound flat to your ears? Most headphones try to correct for the response of average ears but everyone hears things differently. I do believe AKG got it right with the semi-open ear pads. I haven't...

You can use an adapter cord which has a mic and button or a device like the Jumbl for bluetooth.

A knit cap (aka beanie) will add a little pressure for slightly better bass too.

I like the clips because i can wear a hat and hooded jacket in very cold weather and they stay put. The open design lets me talk to people without removing them and getting cold.

have a look at Post 32 as a reference to determine if you have thin earpads.

None in particular. Portapro pads should be good. If you see a seem around the outer edge, they are probably the 5hinner pads.

If you have any thicker ear pads, please try them. They make a huge difference.

You could try some felt or cotton cosmetic pad rings directly on the back of the drivers.

MEE Audio Matrix2. Same design but better drivers. I have nit heard either but have been looking also. Can someone confirm? I got the Ausdom M07 for $20 but modified them heavily. They are semi-open on-ear.

I'm just wondering why everyone wants isolation and noise cancelling? I can understand it on a train or plane but is it necessary in our everyday environment?

You could try a piece of felt or cotton cosmetic pad in the back of the cup. If it isnt against the driver, it shouldnt impact the bass much. If it does, a small hole for a bass.port might bring it back. Check out the mods at http://diyah.boards.net/board/6/headphones
