I will using the DAP on the go and use external DAC and headphones when sitting down to listen to music when time permit

I am contemplating using my SE100 as a source playing tidal sending the digital stream via the USB port to an external DAC. I wonder if any SE100 owner have done something like this and what is your experience. This is for my office use and I am planning on getting a Schiit Yggdrasil DAC.

Hi, for all you happy TT2 owners, if you happen to have experience with Schiit Yggdrasil, in your opinion, how do they compare? Price wise TT2 is more than twice that of Yggdrasil, but Yggdrasil needs an AMP, and is a lot less mobile, needs lots of burn-in and has to stay on to keep the good...

Looks like Yggy is likely the best at the ~$2500 price point. I am wondering how Yggy compare with Hugo TT 2 which is more than double the price of Yggy.

Just received mine last Friday. Used it with my HD6XX single ended for a brief listen, sound is quite clean and responsive, it feels like the amp is transparent like it disappears from the chain, which I like.

Yes I think (from Tidal streaming). Sounds actually quite nice to me with AKG K7XX which costs $199 from Massdrop. Can't stop wondering if I do get SEM1 in the near future, how much better that will be.:smile_phones:

LCD-4z will generally get more use since you can pretty much play it straight out of your phone or DAP when you cannot sit next to your desktop DAC/AMP, therefore more bang for the buck. With LCD-4, might need another over ear headphone for more mobile use. Comparing the LCD-4z to LCD-X, would...
