How do you close the tiny vent ?

Up close and personal   IMHO, Pro HD is fine for listening at home but for daily bus commute, the bass is too weak and the isolation is not that good for my ears. The cable is nice. It doesn't get entangled easily.

Peter, if you are worried about 4G/LTE compatibility, you might want to look at this Mi Note 5 http://www.mi.com/sg/minote/hifi/. Its 4G LTE should be compatible with both Telenor and Netcoms' LTE bands in Norway.

Good news.... Oppo R7f phone finally works with this Oppo HA-2 DAC thanks to the latest R7f firmware (ColorOS 2.1.0i Build Number R7fEX_11_150914). The charging doesn't work though.   

On a positive note, I found that L5 can outclass the SQ of my Oppo HA-2 DAC+Moto G combo.   L5 seems to have a better dynamic range and can reveal much more details in music. I know this may not be a fair comparison...  so just take it with a pinch of salt.  

  Just FYI...   I ran into troubles updating to this 1.0.0.7. The update went well but as soon as I chose the option "Update Media Library", it went to show a progress bar and the L5 just froze. I could switch the L5 off by pressing and holding the power button but whenever I turned it back...

Thanks John. I am sure you remember that I am one of those affected by the L5 screen cancer issue. Would I be qualified for the trade-in/upgrade? I am interested but I can only take the exchange offer if it happens before Oct 1 because I'll have to travel overseas between Oct 1 to Dec 1.

Yes, my L5 is suffering from that dreaded screen cancer.  Got mine from Penonaudio.

I tried the music player app that comes with Oppo R7f, I also tried Google Play Music app, Neutron Pro, and one app suggested for HA-2 in Oppo Digital FAQ homepage. None of them work can make Oppo R7f works with HA-2.         Yes, I have read about this info and in fact, precisely...

I have no clue.  The sounds keep coming through the phone speakers instead of HA2. Folks at Oppo Lifestyle store in Singapore also have no clues.  I have contacted both Oppo Digital (HA2) and Oppo Mobile (R7f) and none of them can help.  So I gave up and went ahead buying a cheap China phone...

It would be nice if TS can put the list of compatible Android devices on the first page of this thread. Something like this:   Oppo R7f                  DOES NOT WORK with HA-2 Moto G 2012              Works HTC One M7              Works Xiaomi Mi4i              Works but cannot be charged...

But seriously Oppo HA-2 is good, way better than my Fiio X5 + Cayin C5 combo. My cheap Mi phone + HA-2 are now my daily gear.
