I heard about a soundcard reccommended for audiophiles, but not from someone on an audiophile site like this. he reccomended the M-Audio line of sound cards. does anyone have an opinion on these?

nah, I live in NY, plus the OBH-21 SE is a little too expensive for me...

I've checked the web, most people don't even sell the 21, onlyt he SE and the OBH-11. lowest price I've seen for the 11 is $159.99 lowest for the 21 is over $250... If no one can find me a reasonable price for the OBH-21, Iwill probably buy the 11 and later get the upgraded power supply...

hmm I haven't been seeing good things about the headroom little from people on this board.... in contrary to the many good things i hear about it on the net. an all around popular choice seems to be the antique sound labs MG head... but only with upgraded tubes the xcans seems to be annoying...

I kind of have my sights set on the Headroom little amp which is MSRP 249. does anyone have any better suggestions?

I want soemthign small enough to be portable soemtimes, but also good enough for use at home... the headroom total airhead at $150 seems to fit this description. on their website, they claim it can drive the sennheiser HD580's and 600's. I have the HD600. I would liek to know if that amplifier...

how often with pretty much avereage use, should I buy new velvet ear pads for my sennheisser HD 600's? they claim the pads should be replaced on a regualr basis for hiegene reasons... Im not sure if its cause I store them in the basement, but I bought mine in may, and I recenltly noticed if I...
