Yep id go for the Bifrost 2 as my next DAC but don't think you will get a massive upgrade in sound for the money difference. No doubt it will be better then the Modius but don't think it will be the money difference worth. The reason i will stick with my Modius it sounds great to my ears

Just got the Asgard 3 and the Modius. So im within my 15 day testing. Im in the UK and now looking at maybe i should of gone for the Bifrost 2. Anybody got the Modius and Bifrost 2 to do any comparisons if its worth the £500 more thanks

Welll the Asgard 3 is a big step up from the old magni 3 i was using with the V90 DAC. At first i wasn't sure on the Modius but it does sound good for the money and now happy with it i was thinking of changing to the Bitfrost 2 but that is £500 more

When i unplug my headphones even though its on high gain i turn the volume right down on the asgard so im not clipping my active speakers and control the speakers by there volume remote

Shouldn't really matter about high gain and low gain in the preamp. Don't think that will clip the output Amp of Active speakers i just usally have the player in windows set to 90% volume and control the speakers with the remote. So when finished listening to music i turn volume down on...

Anybody on the Fence about the LCD2-C don't hesitate about them they great for the price. Proberly one of the best Headphones up to a grand i love mine. I had the Magni 3 changed to the Lyr 3 takes the sound up to another level

I want to try the Reveal plugin also i love my LCD2C as they are out of the box. But it be good to try the plugin only thing is it doesn't work via MusicBee as MusicBee doesn't allow VST plugins

The stack LCD2C stock cable is very good. I had to change mine cause the length was short for me otherwise i would of kept using it. Magic cables IMO do not change sound

Great Stuff at the Moment im using a M/F V90 DAC and Magni 3 for my LCD2-C for my pc setup but feel i need a change now the v90 is a decent DAC and the Magni 3 is a decent Amp but i wanna change for the Schiit stack i feel my Headphones deserve better and i use my Active speakers also
