I would power off the Pono and then plug it in. You should see a display with a power plug icon that is partly green. It will be fully green when fully charged. See if that makes a difference as it charges faster with more power when off.

I agree with awayeah with my personal experience. Granted, the Flare's are my first foray into IEM's, so it took me a while to figure out what I needed to do to get a good seal, and the easiest way to insert the IEM's. Part of that journey was trying different tips, in hopes of finding easier...

So, use of fingernails to hopefully grab that center yellow cylinder is key to keep these from ripping off the center when removing.

We expect first impression, and any depth of a review for those purchasing this first wave of the new IEM! Especially those that can provide a comparison to R2's I'll wait for the less expensive versions without the wireless pack.
