I went for the lcd-3 & liquid glass and I'm not disappointed. You get best of both worlds with a hybrid plus all the fun of tube rolling, what's not too like?

I am close to buying a Cavalli liquid glass amp or maybe a Woo WA22 but I'm not sure of the best place to buy quality reliable tubes from in the UK or Europe. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I now have two amps on my short list, the Auralic Taurus mk11 & the Cavalli Liquid Glass. I really like the idea of tube rolling but we have no dealers for Cavalli in the UK which is problematic. I just can't make my mind up.

Hi, I am looking for suggestions for an amp for my LCD-3's. I am looking to spend up to £4000 but that is pushing it.    The main criteria are that it must be fully balanced in and out and be suitable for tube rolling and also well matched to drive the LCD-3's.   Thanks for any advice.

Can i just ask you guys a quick question regarding balanced amps? I am starting to look at the best amp for my lcd-3's, as i have balanced outputs on my chord dac64 should i be looking only at balanced amps? Is the difference that great? Thanks
