FiiO X5 firmware 2.50 download and discussion
I listen to DJ MP3 Mixes @320kbps and find that there is a gap when moving from one tune to the next. I don't get this gap on my mac or iPhone. This gap has been there on all FW versions. -

Most of the time I liste to Deep/Progressive House, but I do like other genres. I have found what ever you throw at the X2's it just sounds right. A few people have said they are bass light, but I have found that if the track calls for bass then the X2's deliver and with sub bass if required. It...- Flomet

For anybody on a Mac, I have been using this app for cleaning the files left behind by the Mac OS. Its called USBclean by a developer that is based in Australia, Russell the developer give a first class service for any questions you may have, I know this as I have been using his Cookie software...- Flomet

I too have no problem with the treble, I've not used the stock cable as it's just too long for my liking. Here is a link to the cable I use and find the sound to be fantastic and a good match for the X2...- Flomet
