So, I've got a pair of MDR-10RBTs I'm testing out now.    @cehowardNote3 - what was your experience for the bass on the 10RBTs vs the 1RBTmk2s? I find the 10RBTs to be much more bass heavy than I am used to, although I imagine this gets better with use as I notice less or they get burned in.

For anybody still on the fence on the S1s, I'd really recommend you put your money elsewhere. While they're good sounding cans, I'd be seriously worried about getting any support if anything ever goes wrong with them.   I reached out to them 24 hrs ago to start an RMA and have heard nothing...

Although I'm planning on returning the S1s, I will say that I'd recommend bluetooth headphones to anyone thinking about it. It's been incredibly refreshing to not have a cable coming out of my ears today.

Yeah, I have a line on a pair of used 1RBTMK2s for a great price, but they're across the country and I'd have to get a friend to buy them and then ship them to me. I'd be worried about getting scammed and paying ~$250 to end up with a pair of not-working beautiful headphones. 

MDR-10RBTs are back on sale for $180 across multiple retailers in US. I think they'll sound comparable to the Pendulumics but look nicer to me. Returning my Pendulumics 

Seems to activate automatically. OS X is reporting that it is using aptX with the S1s for me.

Really happy with the limited bleed of sound so far. We work in a pretty intimate office and I've asked co-workers to let me know if they hear anything coming from the cans and there have been no complaints even with the volume up pretty high.

Got to work today and saw package on my desk, so I guess they did show up on Monday after all.   Charging them now to give them a go on wireless first once they are ready.   I am not impressed so far by the build quality but it is something I suppose I could get past if the sound is great...

Guess I should have been clearer - this is a guy who got them from Asia that is now selling them on craigslist. I guess I could ask him if he has the original receipt and then contact the vendor. 

Found somebody selling a set of MDR-1RBTMK2 locally for a pretty good price and now I'm really torn. Do I get the cans that will probably be better but not have a proper warranty given that they're only sold in Asia?

No shipping update for me yet - was told to DM them on twitter with contact info so they could be sure mine were sent out today.

Yeah - seems unlikely but they said "if purchased today, we will ship them tomorrow and you should have them by Monday!" so I assume that means this coming Monday.
