Ogg Vorbis Sounds Great!!!
I converted 30,000 of my FLAC files to Ogg Vorbis. Ogg sounds wonderful. It is a lossy format, but take a listen. I prefer the sound of Ogg level 6 to MP3 320 and , Ogg seems to be smaller than MP3. Now I can have 11,000 tunes on my Fiio X3 with a 64gb card! Any more love out there?- jfaaz

WAV Sounds The Best (To Me)
I don't have to agree with you or anybody else. I am aware of lossless file formats and the fact that so many people scrutinize over testing each one blindly. Therefore, I am not ignorant. I don't see why so many of you get disturbed when someone prefers one codec over the other. If I...- jfaaz

WAV Sounds The Best (To Me)
Wav, APE, AIFF, FLAC, and ALAC are all lossless file codecs and many audiophiles say that there is no difference in sound quality between them. I use all these file types, but feel that WAV sounds superior to the rest. I listen with Audio Technica ATHM50 headphones and a Fiio X3 (firmware...- jfaaz

Is ALAC genuinely lossless?
ALAC is lossless. You can convert ALAC to FLAC, APE, AIFF, or WAV as much as you want and not lose any quality. As far as which lossless format sounds better, that is up to your ears.- jfaaz

Pink Floyd: The Endless River
Mostly instrumental, Gilmour does sing a solid tune towards the end. -
Pink Floyd: The Endless River
Its fine that he not playing on the album. Roger states, "I left Pink Floyd in 1986, get over it!" However, There are some points on tracks that echo Meddle and Waters bass would sound great. -
Pink Floyd: The Endless River
I downloaded Pink Floyd: The Endless River and did not expect to much. I am pleasantly surprised by the this material and have been enjoying it very much. It does not sound like leftovers from the Division Bell, just fresh Floyd ambient but compelling. -
VOX: Mac OSX Music Player
Swinsian is great because you can search for duplicates and remove them easily. Swinsian also does DSD. Jriver is great for its customizable themes and sounds perhaps a little better than Swinsian.- jfaaz

VOX: Mac OSX Music Player
Jriver is also my choice. The only other player for Mac that works good with libraries over 2tb or 200,000 tracks is Swinsian. If you have to use iTunes with another player, forget it. Vox would not work for me.- jfaaz

Just got my M50x, thinking about getting something else
Perhaps if you take the earpods off before you put the M50 on you will get better results. I have never heard anyone say the M50s sound weak. I love mine and have no need for any other.- jfaaz

Why does everyone hate Bose?
Back in the 1980s I had a pair of Bose 501 and a pair of 301s. They were sweet!!!! When I placed them properly in a medium size room they would sound pretty special. Its a shame Bose does not produce anything like the 501s of yesteryear.- jfaaz
