I've listened to the HD800S for a total of maybe an hour. I definitely like it a lot. I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to purchase it, and if I don't quite like the sound for some genres I like, could I sell it for pretty close to the original price?

Currently listening to some Tidal Masters tracks. Adam Lambert - Another lonely Night is bloody fantastic with these cans and the bottlehead crack. Holy wow. Sparkly crisp warm space. I'm trying my best to convince myself that I don't need a pair of HD800S. So far, i'm winning XD

I heard some at my local audio store. I REALLY loved Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles on the HD800S on a Chord DAVE amp. Not sure of the source, probably CD streaming. I'm thinking about getting a pair of the HD800S. What sort of amp should I be aiming for? I'd prefer to stay under $800 for the amp...

A lot of good edm makes my HD650 and Bottlehead Crack go wow. Warm crispness is a quality I think goes often unheard in edm over the boom of the bass.
